Mindful!
Postpartum depression is the most commonly known mental health complication of pregnancy and is also the most widely discussed perinatal mood disorder. This awareness campaign, Mindful!, is intended to raise awareness of the perinatal mood disorders that could affect a mother during pregnancy and postpartum. Through a series of workshops, fact sheets, infographics, and other materials, we seek to raise awareness among women, new mothers, and the villages that support them about these disorders.

The MUM-ALLY
This is a peer support program for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) mothers suffering from Postpartum Anxiety (PPA) or other perinatal mood disorder. With a call for volunteers, MUM-ALLY will pair a struggling mom with a volunteer who has experience with postpartum anxiety or another perinatal mood disorder. The volunteer will check in with the mom and serve as a confidant, sounding board, sister, and friend, especially during the first six months postpartum. This period is often the most stressful for a new mom adjusting to motherhood and/or having a new baby.

Moms with Postpartum Anxiety (MPA)
Moms with Postpartum Anxiety (MPA) is an online community for BIPOC moms who have experienced or are currently living with postpartum anxiety.
This community of women will help to create a tapestry of postpartum anxiety in its many colors by sharing their stories to bring attention to this often-overlooked disorder in our community.
In so doing, they will help to curate an inventory of strategies and tips these moms have used to overcome and/or live with this disorder.
